On Halloween, we opted to take advantage of a special that a local photo studio was promoting, and it turns out, you get what you pay for. I received a call yesterday from the studio informing me that Sean's Halloween pictures were ready to be picked up. I'm not at all a fan of this picture, but we were given no choices. They took the pictures, they picked the "best" one (we were not given an opportunity to see all the pictures and choose one for ourselves, nevermind that we're the ones who paid for them), and the prints are ready (2-5x7's and 8-wallets) nearly three weeks later. If we wish to view the other shots, we need to make an appointment to do so, and we'll be given an opportunity to purchase more. Yeah, and wait till almost Christmas to receive prints from Halloween, when we should've just been able to pick our favorite pose in the first place? No thanks. The session was relatively inexpensive, so that's good. But we've made a mental note not to jump at any other "specials" this particular studio advertises. (For the record, it's not their regular practice to not allow the families to pick the photos -- just for the deals like this.... I'd definitely return to the studio for a regular session).

On a different topic, Sean is pretty well back to normal in the "digestive" and diaper areas, thank goodness! No more running the other way when the words, "diaper change" are spoken, no more creme, no more crying (from him or me!). So YAY!! The bottom left 2-year molar is just about completely broken through, but now the top right one is on its way.... Two down, two to go.

Tonight I'm going with Kim to see "Disney's Christmas Carol" in 3D after work! I'm excited, as I've heard good things about it, plus this will actually be the first 3D movie I've ever seen. I've been to IMAX for 3D documentaries (I love the dinosaur and ocean documentaries they often bring to the theater....), but never an actual movie.

Then tomorrow -- tomorrow it's NEW MOON, baby!!

I like the pic...but I guess if you know others were better, and you're at the mercy of them...then I'm mad at them too. :)

Did you like A Christmas Carol..I loved it, 3D and all...it was soooo good.

Hope you enjoy New Moon today (even though you couldn't PAY me to see a movie about Vampires. ) LOL

sounds like a good week for you sweets :)
