This post will probably be a bit random, but it's after 11pm and I've had too much Dew to go to sleep, but it's too far past my bedtime to be coherent. So we're going to try this anyway:

I'm completely addicted to the Twilight series now. I've finished the first two books (Twilight and New Moon) and I'm about to start the third one (Eclipse). I also watched the Twilight movie last night, which I enjoyed but it wasn't as good as the book (as is typically the case when a book is made into a movie). I found the movie to be a little "choppy" (for lack of a better word). But nonetheless, it was an impossibly romantic love story. And as weird as this is going to sound, I don't find Robert Pattinson particularly attractive. But Edward Cullen? B-E-A-Utiful!

*sigh*

I started a new job this week in the interstate department at work. It wasn't a promotion, just a lateral transfer. But a great new challenge nonetheless, and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I'm in a new unit, in a new office, with a new supervisor (and as of now, I'm 5 for 5 since starting with the state, when it comes to working under someone I like, so YAY!). Thankfully, there isn't a lot of training necessary, as I was the backup person for this position for the past several months, so I'd already been mostly trained. But that doesn't mean there isn't questions to ask, procedures to figure out, and regulations to obey. I hope I do well...

This morning, I hit up yet another Mom 2 Mom sale, which was fun. I actually walked out of there with nothing more than a pair of shoes for Sean. No clothes. No toys (like he needs more). But it was fun anyway...I sat with my friend at her table where she was selling stuff at the sale...and as I left the sale, I giggled at the parking lot full of minivans and station wagons (including mine). So this is parenthood, huh?

We're counting down the hours till we get a visit from Dan's brother & his wife and their two boys. We expect them, hopefully Monday afternoon sometime. I can't wait to meet my newest nephew, E, and watch Sean & his cousin S play together.

And as for Sean...well...he's funny as ever. Right now, he thinks any whirring noise he hears is an airplane. His eyes will get big & round, he'll point in the general direction of the noise, and shout "Eh-pane!" Today, the airplane was my Mom's water softner kicking on.

Okay, it's after 11:30. I gotta go to bed now...

OMG, Amy, I read both "New Moon" and "Twilight" on my vacation this past week and I'm DYING to read the last one! I need to go buy it since there's a waiting list from my library. Will be this week on my lunch break, hands down.

Good luck with the new job. I think you're going to be FINE. :)
