As I left work yesterday and walked into the sunny, 85-degree weather, I decided I was going to get Sean from daycare and take him to the local splash park to get wet for a little bit. While walking to my car, Kerry called to ask me where the nearest McDonalds with a playland was located at. (Do you have any idea how hard we had to think about this? Where have all the McDonalds playlands gone?)

Anyway, her boys had just come from their first dentist appointments and did very well, so Kerry promised them she'd take them to McD's to play & eat. Being that the only decent McD's with a playland is a hop & a skip from Sean's daycare, I decided to meet Kerry there so the boys could play together (hey, it was air conditioned...the next best thing to a water park, right?).

I learned yesterday that while Sean doesn't quite understand the concept of McDonalds yet, he does understand the concept of Jackson. When I tried to get his shoes on him, he ran away giggling and avoided me (he plays this game almost daily when I pick him up from daycare). But when I announced, "Hey Sean, we're going to McDonalds to play with Colin & Jackson!" he ran right to me yelling, "Jattson!!!" Sat right down and let me put his shoes on.

It's fun watching friendships blossom...
