And Now A Word From Mr. Sean

Seriously, I could get used to this whole "weekend" thing. After I ate breakfast on Saturday morning, Mommy took me to Grandma's house to spend the day (and the night!). While grandma spoiled me with hot dogs and chocolate pudding, Mommy & Daddy went to Ikea to get new dressers because they're starting to prepare my bedroom for a big boy bed! The dresser in my bedroom was tall and since I like to climb, Mommy & Daddy figure that's probably not a good idea to give me free reign of my room until I have something I can't pull down on top of myself. So they gave me their really nice short dresser, and they got new dressers for their room (their clothes are bigger than mine anyway so they need the extra drawer space).

Mommy said they had an awesome time together yesterday though! They shopped and ate and talked. They stopped at a big mall on the way home and strolled around there for awhile... Then they went home and started putting together all the new stuff, but by 1:00am, they were tired and went to bed before they finished.

This morning, Mommy & Grandma decided to go to Bob Evans for breakfast so Mommy could pick me up. Papa & Nana showed up too and we had fun! I had a super healthy breakfast of toast, whipped cream, a few bites of Mommy's strawberry-banana pancakes, and some apple juice. What a mess I made, but it sure was yummy!

After breakfast, Mommy took me to the splash park so I could run off the sugar. And run, I did. Kerry met us there with Colin & Jackson, so we all chased each other around and blew off energy.

I gotta have a nap now, so Mommy will finish...

Well, Sean's in bed. Hopefully sleeping. Dan is assembling the last dresser, and I'm working on laundry (dishes are done). It's time to start moving clothes into the new dressers -- all the clothes are currently in laundry baskets in the upstairs bathroom. It never fails to amaze me how much more disorganized things get when you're in the process of making things more organized.

We're all looking forward to a three-day work week this week followed by a five-day weekend! I love vacations, holidays, weekends, and furlough (yes, even furlough)!

Sounds like Sean had a great weekend (and you, too!!) :) And I agree - rooms always look worse before they look better!
